Artist Spotlight: ILeGaLiT Magazine - Jul 2017
Artist profile on ILeGaLiT Magazine, a Slovakian magazine showcasing emerging artists and illustrators.
Sheila Darcey is a Filipino artist who grew up in Brisbane, Australia and now lives in Venice, California. Art has always been her first love, but for the last 20 years she has focused her attention on building a career as a digital innovator and business consultant. She has recently returned to her artistic roots and studied the transformation of nature into the subconscious. This process requires leaving any pre-conceived ideas. Instead, focusing only on the creation process. It's a daily exercise that has evolved into meditative practice. Her goal is to introduce this process to others through art collaborations, so they can experience this state of flow and the healing power of creative expression.
